Holly Lucille, ND, RN

As the daughter of two pharmacists, Holly is well versed in the Western medical approach: “You don’t feel well? Here, take this pill.”

Even at a very young age, she was troubled by this approach to health and always wanted to know “WHY?” She would ask question after question, hoping things would make more sense. Finally, her dogged pursuit of all the “whys” eventually led her to naturopathic medicine, well over two decades ago.

Today, she is a nationally recognized and licensed naturopathic doctor, educator, natural products consultant, television and radio host, and the author of several books including Creating and Maintaining Balance: A Women’s Guide to Safe, Natural, Hormone Health and The Healing Power of Trauma Comfrey.

An acclaimed expert in the field of integrative medicine, she has lectured internationally on a variety of natural health topics. She is currently on the editorial advisory board of Alternative Medicine, Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, Advances in Mind -Body Medicine and Natural Practitioner and is regularly quoted as an expert in both consumer and peer journals.

Holly currently holds position as a senior medical advisor to Fullscript and serves as the secretary of the Institute for Natural Medicine. As the past president of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, she helped to ensure the availability of safe naturopathic health care by spearheading a lobbying effort to have naturopathic doctors licensed in the state of California. She was awarded the “SCNM Legacy Award” for her “contribution to the advancement and development of the field of naturopathic medicine.”
